Nakashima Table Restore

This Table was made in the late 1980's by George Nakashima's family, but the ethic and the style remain the same. The table, which is 51"x51" square, has seen a great deal of damage due to a failed finish, excessive exposure to UV rays, and burns from hot kettles. The remaining damages were typical scratches. The table was beautiful to restore, and the client elected to have the piece completely refinished to look as close to new as possible.
