Sapele Dining Table for 8

This table was made from a single slab of Sapele. The slabs which were 3" thick, were re-sawn on a large bandsaw, milled flat, then joined. The legs were castle-jointed for strength and integrity. The patterns in the ribbon-grained cuts of wood made the top seem to be a beautiful view of the wood through a lense that refracted the image.
